The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially announced the results of the Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA) held on June 9 and 11, 2023. The Board of Architecture, led by Arch. Robert S. Sac and supported by Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente and Arch. Corazon V. Fabia-Tandoc, reported that 2,924 out of 4,784 examinees successfully passed the exam. Among the successful examinees, Joanna Rose Escobar Arconcil, a Saint Louis University alumna, notably secured the sixth highest score, achieving an impressive rating of 83.70%.

Examination and Release of Results

The exam was conducted in multiple cities across the country, including N. C. R., Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. The results were released promptly, within three working days after the conclusion of the examination.

Registration Process

Successful examinees are now set to join the professional field of architecture, but not before completing several essential steps. Registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will commence on August 14, 2023. The registration process will be carried out online, with slots available on various dates until August 31, 2023.

Required Documents and Final Step

To register, successful examinees are required to visit the PRC’s official website (www.prc.gov.ph) and follow the instructions provided for initial registration. As part of the registration process, applicants must bring several items: a downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, the notice of admission (for identification purposes only), two passport-sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope. After completing the online process, the successful examinees are required to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
