Immediate Lockdown Ordered in Guisad Central; Andres Bonifacio Lockdown Lifted


The Office of the City Mayor, through the Memorandum 117, series of 2020, has ordered immediate implementation of lockdown over Barangay Guisad Central effective today, July 17, 2020 until further notice.

The purpose of the lockdown is to facilitate contact tracing and disinfection of the area. This is also to ensure the safety and security of the residents who may have come in contact with the latest confirmed case that was recorded today, who is a resident of the said barangay.

As a result of the lockdown, the following will be implemented:

  • Home Quarantine Pass / Mall and Market Schedule Cards are suspended
  • Residents may access basic needs through the barangay satellite market or available rolling stores or they could coordinate with their barangay officials.
  • Exit and Entry to these areas are restricted to APOR’s and those with medical emergencies.

Barangay Andres Bonifacio Lockdown Lifted

In the same update by the Public Information Office of Baguio City, the Memorandum No. 118, series of 2020, orders the lifting of Andres Bonifacio barangay’s lockdown order, effective immediately.

According to the memo, the city’s contact tracing team has made a reassessment of the barangay and based on the geospatial risk of transmission in the following areas, lockdown is no longer necessary.
