Four Individuals Tried to Enter Baguio City Using a Hospital Logo

Authorities caught four individuals who tried to enter Baguio City using a hospital logo.

Moreover, the following persons were charged with the Usurpation of Authority.

According to Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) Director P/Col. Allen Rae Co, around 9:30 AM last August 18, 2020, Police Station 10 personnel manning the Modified Community Quarantine checkpoint along Marcos Highway intercepted the van carrying the four suspects.

Furthermore, verification showed that the use of the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) logo was not permitted by the hospital.

Director Co said that Medical Specialist IV Dr. Frederick Mars Untalan, representative of the BGHMC, has filed the case against the suspects last August 19, 2020.

The suspects are identified residents of Pideg, Tubao, La Union with city address at Lourdes Extension Naguillian Road.

Furthermore, Untalan said that they filed the case hoping that the incident would serve as a lesson to those who are falsifying documents to enter Baguio City.
