Entry Protocols in Bontoc, Mt. Province



Yesterday, March 2, 2021 (Tuesday), Bontoc Mayor Franklin C. Odsey has issued the updated entry protocols for travelers to Bontoc, Mountain Province. The entry protocols were effective starting yesterday.

Entry Protocols in Bontoc

These guidelines only cover entry to Bontoc.

Clinical and Exposure Assessment, and Triaging

  • Clinical and exposure assessment shall be strictly implemented in all ports of entry into and exit from Bontoc.
  • Health Assessment / Triaging of all passengers/ travelers shall be mandatory at the Triage Area
    • Triage area is located at the basement of the Bontoc Municipal Capitol.

Testing and Quarantine

  • All travelers coming from places outside Mt. Province (to include Returning Overseas Filipinos) entering Bontoc shall present a Negative RT-PCR Test, except:
    • Returning Bontoc residents
      • Returning Bontoc Residents must provide an Identification Card or a Valid Government Issued ID as proof of their residency.
    • Traders
    • Government Officials and Government Workers on official travel
  • Quarantine is no longer required unless they exhibit symptoms upon their arrival in Bontoc, Mt. Province.

Travelers Going out of Bontoc

  • Travelers going out of Bontoc shall check the testing requirements of the LGU of destination prior to travel.

Documentary Requirements

Required

  • The following are required for government officials and workers who are on official travel:
    • Identification Card
    • Travel Order
    • Travel Itinerary
    • Must Pass the Symptom-screening


Not Required

The following are no longer required:

  • Travel Authority issued by the Joint Task Force COVID Shield
  • Travel Pass or Travel Permit
  • Health Certificates/Medical Clearance Certificates

Private and Public Transportation

  • All private and public utility vehicles(PUVs) shall submit their passenger manifesto (contact numbers, complete names (required ID), barangay destination).
  • All passengers must undergo health assessment at the Municipal Triage Area located at the basement of the Bontoc Municipal Capitol.

Minimum Public Health Protocols

  • Mandatory wearing of facemask and face shield
  • Physical distancing of at least one meter
  • Frequent hand washing or hand sanitation
  • Proper hygiene and cough etiquette
  • Health Lifestyle
  • No indiscriminate spitting (including, but not limited to momma refuse)
