The Holy Week is a sacred time as we commemorate the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Among the things to follow during the season of Lent, is the Seven Churches Visitation of commonly known as the Visita Iglesia in the Philippines. This Catholic tradition dates back to the ancient times and this event starts on the evening of Holy Thursday. Filipinos are strict observers of this tradition and for visitors here in the City of Pines here are the churches in Baguio City that you can add in your Holy Week excursion.

• Our Lady of Atonement Cathedral

Starting with the a famous church located at the heart of the city is Our Lady of Atonement Cathedral or commonly known as the Baguio Cathedral, the cathedral might be located a few steps away from the iconic Session Road but inside is a great place for meditation and prayer.

• St. Joseph the Worker Church
