BTS Sets Guinness World Record for ‘Most Simultaneous Viewers for a Music Video on YouTube Premieres’



It is official! The world famous South Korean boy group BTS has recently set another massive achievement! 

The Guinness World Record has officially announced on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, through their official Twitter account, that BTS has bagged the record for the “Most Simultaneous Viewers for a Music Video on YouTube Premieres” for their hit single “Dynamite”.

“BTS (@BTS_twt)’s record for the ‘most simultaneous viewers for a music video on YouTube Premieres’ has now been confirmed, with the 2020 single Dynamite clocking up over three million viewers,” the Guinness World Records wrote on its Tweet.



The video premiere of BTS’ “Dynamite”, according to the Guinness World Record, has “attracted more than 3 million concurrent viewers on YouTube Premieres on 21 August 2020.”

The group has first achieved the title for the “Most Simultaneous Viewers for a Music Video on YouTube Premieres” with “ON” on February 27, 2020, but the bar had been raised fellow South Korean group BLACKPINK on June 26, 2020 with “How You Like That”. And now BTS has already reclaimed the title.

As of today (Thursday), March 18, 2021, BTS’ official music video for “Dynamite” has already gained over 900 Million views on YouTube.
