According to the statement of YG Entertainment, it was stated that “This is an inevitable decision as the social distancing in the metropolitan area to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been raised, so we ask for your understanding.”

“In particular, the local government to which the performance hall belongs has announced an administrative order that is more strict than the government’s 2.5-level quarantine measures (restriction of groups of 50 or more), which bans meetings and events of 10 or more people until December 28th,” YG Entertainment added.

Here’s a video message from the BLACKPINK members Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo regarding the “THE SHOW” postponement announcement.
