BENECO will hold its Annual General Membership Assembly on October 2, 2021

The Benguet Electric Cooperative Inc. will be holding its 40th Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) on October 2, 2021, from 9:00 AM. This annual event for members of BENECO is an avenue for members to know the status of BENECO and its members through the Board of Directors’ President and General Managers report among other activities during the AGMA.

Due to the pandemic and to safeguard the health of the members, the 40th Annual General Membership Assembly will be done online via zoom. In order to participate, members should pre-register at http://register.beneco.com.ph.

According to the Announcement provided on the official Facebook page of BENECO, the following are the orders of business during the 40th Annual General Membership Assembly:

• Report on the number of members present to determine existence of quorum
• Reading of a notice of meeting and proof of publication or mailing thereof
• Reading and approval of the minutes of the previous general membership assembly
• Matters arising from the minutes of previous general membership meeting
• Presentation and consideration of the BOD President and General Manager’s Report
• Ratification of Articles of Cooperation and By-Laws
• Approval of the Collection of Share Contribution
• Ratification of BOD Resolution Nos. 2020-90, 2020-165, 2020-190, 2021-87and 2021-151 (Letter from MCOs dated September 15, 2021)
• Proposed amendment to Section 10, Article IV on Voting (Proponent: Engr. Claudio Calugan, District 5)
• Resolution for Disciplinary Action against Four Board of Directors of BENECO ( Lawyers)
• Other matters

For members of BENECO who will pre-register at http://register.beneco.com.ph will be asked for their account number, meter serial number, account name, amount of latest current bill among other information, all of such information can be found in the latest monthly BENECO bill.

Cancellation of BENECO Virtual PMES

Due to the holding of the 40th Annual General Membership Assembly on October 2, 2021. The virtual Pre-membership education seminar (PMES) via zoom is canceled for the said date. The schedule of the regular pre-membership seminar every Wednesday and Saturday will resume starting October 6, 2021.
