Barangay Padre Burgos Issued Lockdown Order

Pursuant to Memorandum Order 105 series of 2020, signed by Baguio City Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan. Barangay Padre Burgos is placed on lockdown.

The reason for the lockdown is to safeguard the safety and security of the residents and to ensure compliance with the guidelines of the MGCQ health and safety protocols.

This is because the residents of the said barangay were observed to be blatantly disobeying the rules on physical distancing and the ordinance on wearing facemasks in public places.

As a result of the lockdown, the following shall apply:

  1. The Mall and Market Schedule pass/card are suspended
  2. To access basic needs like food, the residents may proceed to their satellite markets or rolling stores, or they must coordinate with their barangay officials.
  3. Exit and Entry in the barangay are restricted to APOR’s and those with medical emergencies.

The lockdown order is issued July 9, 2020, and will last until further notice.
