Baguio Water District informs public regarding water supply interruption

Baguio Water District (BWD) has released a public advisory on Wednesday afternoon regarding the results of the rapid assessment of all its facilities after the recent earthquake that jolted Baguio and other parts of Luzon.

As per the initial assessment of the Emergency Response and Crisis Management Teams at 11:00 AM, broken transmission lines resulting in turbid water have been reported throughout the city. BWD informs that “consumers in isolated areas are advised to expect low to no water supply” until repairs and decontamination activities are completed.
