Baguio City Public Market MGCQ Walk (MADAMI BANG TAO SA PALENGKE?)

Watch Here:

Baguio City is still under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ), so on our designated market schedule, we decided to go to the Baguio City Public Market to purchase food stocks for the week. We thought we’d record our market run and create a virtual walking tour so those who are not able to go out can catch a glimpse of what MGCQ is like in the busiest part of Baguio City. The video was taken around 9 AM and the weather was lovely so before going to the market, we thought we’d pass by Lake Drive to catch a glimpse of the empty Burnham Park. Hope you’ll enjoy this ASMR walking tour with us.

Residents can only go inside the market during schedule and you have to present your Home Quarantine Pass (HQP). We also had to pause the video every now and then to buy and use rigorously use alcohol after every transaction (because you can never go wrong with taking extra precautions, right?). Hangar Market was a bit challenging to wade through because of the faded arrows and narrow alleys, but all in all, it was a great market day full of fresh fruits and vegetables from Baguio’s nearby Cordilleran provinces.

Please stay home unless you have work or anything essential to do, and if you do need to go out, practice kindness, mindfulness, and social distancing. Wear masks and let’s all be safe and healthy.
