Apple brand loyalty (willingness to buy the same brand again) has hit an all-time high while Android loyalty has dropped, based on the latest cell phone brand loyalty survey conducted by SellCell.

The online survey has included over five thousand (5,000) smartphone users based in the United States (US), aged 18 years or older, with any of the five major smartphone brands in the US – Apple, Samsung, Google, LG, and Motorola. The survey was conducted between March 3 to 10, 2021.

As for brand loyalty among Google Pixel users, it dropped 18.8% (from 84% in 2019 to 65.2% in 2021).

Then there are those which SellCell called the “most disloyal bunch”, the Motorola and LG users, with approximately 71% and 62.6%, respectively, of users stating that they would switch to a different brand when they next upgrade/get a new smartphone.
