SKYdirect reaches Baguio City

Starting today, residents of the City of Pines will now be able to enjoy SKYCable’s direct-to-home TV service and can now have a different TV viewing experience.

SKYdirect, one of SKYCable’s cable TV subscription options was launched at Hill Station, Baguio City wherein different representatives of ABS-CBN and SKYCable, and different media practitioners were present.

The event was also an avenue to introduce SKYdirect’s new endorser, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and its new subscription plan, the Kapamilya 99 Prepaid plan which provides an array of channels and shows from the ABS-CBN Network.

Ed Patron, Regional Business Head of SKY said in a press release thatSKYdirect aims to “give Filipino families the experience they deserve via some of the most enriching channel variety that SKY has become known for.”

The product launch had a twist which made the audience test their knowledge about SKYdirect and SkyCable and ABS-CBN’s program contents and channels through a quiz bee. The audience were divided into teams and the winning team received additional prizes. A raffle draw was also held and the winner received a SKYdirect kit.

Members of the audience actively participated in the SKYdirect quiz bee, which was SKYCable’s unique way of launching SKYdirect during the event. The questions covered were regarding the program content, cable channels, and SKYdirect’s latest plan, Kapamilya 99 which offers an array of channels from the ABS-CBN Network.

103.1 MOR Baguio’s DJ Micah Risma hosted the event, and the special guest was one of ABS-CBN’s rising stars, Marlo Mortel.
