Seven (7) new patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 were recorded in the City of Baguio today, August 2, 2020.

According to the Department of Health – Cordillera Administrative Region (DOH-CAR), ten (10) cases have been recorded for today’s COVID-19 regional update. This includes the 3 cases that were reported by the city yesterday that didn’t include the 12:00 PM cutoff. The Public Information Office of Baguio City has also disclosed the places of residence of the seven patients for contact tracing purposes.

Here are the details on the 7 new cases in Baguio City:

37-year old female from Ferguson Road;
49-year old female from Barangay Queen of Peace;
70-year old female from Barangay Queen of Peace;
60-year old female from Barangay Queen of Peace;
78-year old male from Barangay Queen of Peace;
45-year old males from Barangay Queen of Peace;
7-year old girl from Bakakeng Norte/Sur

According to PIO-Baguio, six of the new patients are contacts of an active case.
