2022 List of Tropical Cyclone Names in the Philippines

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has released the names for tropical cyclones which will enter or form the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) for this year.

Philippine Tropical Cyclone Names 2022

The first tropical cyclone of the year is always given a name starting with the letter A. Succeeding tropical cyclones will be named following the list sequenced alphabetically as shown below:

  • Agaton
  • Basyang
  • Caloy
  • Domeng
  • Ester
  • Florita
  • Gardo
  • Henry
  • Inday
  • Josie
  • Karding
  • Luis

Should the number of tropical cyclones to enter PAR exceed 25, the following names will be used.

  • Jessa
