TESDA-RTC Baguio Offers Scholarships for Short Courses; Here’s How you Can Apply





The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Regional Training Center Baguio (TESDA RTC-Baguio) has opened registration for their scholarship program applications. Below are the courses and scholarship programs available and how qualified candidates can apply.

  • Automotive Servicing NC II
  • Carpentry NC II
  • Carpentry NC III
  • CNC Lathe Machine Operation NC II
  • CNC Milling Machine Operation NC II
  • Construction Painting NC II
  • Driving NC II
  • Electrical Installation NC II
  • Electrical Installation NC III
  • English Proficiency Language
  • Gas Metal Arc Welding NC II
  • Gas Tungsten Arc Welding NC II
  • Machining NC II
  • Masonry NC I
  • Masonry NC II
  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I
  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II
  • Technical Drafting NC II

Scholarship Programs

Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education (UAQTE)

The UAQTE is a scholarship program through the Republic Act 10931 or UAQTE Act. Its goal is to provide all Filipinos with equal opportunity to quality tertiary education in both private and public educational institutions.

Training for Work Scholarship Programs (TWSP)

TWSP is TESDA’s answer to the country’s job mismatch issue. The program’s goal is to ensure that the labor force requirement of the industry is fulfilled.

Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA)

PESFA is a scholarship program of TESDA geared to provide financial assistance to marginalized units who are qualified for tech-voc education and training.

Special Training for Employment Program (STEP)

STEP is a TESDA program for Filipinos who are looking to acquire skills which can be used for employment and entrepreneurship.

  • Free assessment
  • Daily allowance (except for TWSP)
  • PPE allowance
  • Starter Toolkits (for STEP)
  • Accident Insurance by GSIS
  • Internet Allowance




Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • At least 10 years of basic education, including those who graduated from High School through Alternative Learning System
  • College Level
  • Currently not under any scholarship programs

How to Apply for TESDA Scholarship in Baguio City

In compliance with the GCQ guidelines, TESDA RTC-Baguio discourages walk-in applicants. Interested applicants may register through the TESDA RTC-Baguio Registration for Enrollment form.

Due to the number of individuals who are registering online and the limited number of batches we accommodate per year, it may take time before your scheduled batch of training/course can start. We will contact you immediately (message/phone call) 1 week before the start of the training program.
