Team Lakay Eduard “The Landslide” Folayang Back on the Fight Scene

Eduard “The Landslide” Folayang of Team Lakay will be back on the fight scene this October 30, 2020, Friday, for the ONE: Inside The Matrix which will be held in Singapore. Folayang, the Face of Philippine MMA and former 3X One Lightweight World Champion, will be facing Antonio “The Spartan” Caruso of  Australia.

“The Landslide” will seek to have his name back into the list of top lightweight throne contenders as he takes on Antonio “The Spartan” Caruso – a multiple- BJJ champion who’s determined to be the first mixed martial arts World Champion from South Australia.”

“I’m very stoked since all the trainings we’ve been doing during the lockdown will now put into action,” stated Folayang.

“I kind of thought that this pandemic would stall events much longer but I’m grateful that things are proceeding. ONE Championship re-started forward, that’s very good,” Folayang added.

Also, Team Lakay Coach Mark Sangiao said that the event will mark a reboot for the team and Team Lakay’s athletes. He also added that he is positive that more events will come after.

“It’s great! This marks a reboot for the team and for our athletes and we’re positive that more events will come after. Let’s keep hoping that the pandemic will not persist and continue to weaken all over the world. We heal as one!”
