Severe Tropical Storm Crising has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility but continues to affect Northern Luzon with strong winds, heavy rainfall, and rough seas. Some areas remain under wind signals.
Severe Tropical Storm Crising has intensified and moved outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of 10:00 AM today. While no longer inside PAR, the storm’s effects—strong winds, heavy rain, and hazardous seas—will still be felt in parts of Northern Luzon and nearby areas.
Outlook:
Crising is expected to intensify further and may reach typhoon category by tomorrow afternoon or evening as it heads toward southern China.
Widespread heavy rainfall is still possible over Northern Luzon and nearby areas due to the effects of Severe Tropical Storm Crising and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon. Flooding and landslides may occur, especially in mountainous and low-lying areas.

A Gale Warning is in effect over the northern and western seaboards of Northern Luzon. Sea travel remains risky for all types or tonnage of vessels.
