Two LPAs Inside PAR May Develop Into Tropical Depressions; Heavy Rains Expected

Two low-pressure areas (LPAs) are being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, both with a medium chance of developing into tropical depressions within 24 hours. Alongside these weather systems, the Southwest Monsoon is expected to bring heavy rains over parts of Luzon, including areas in the Cordillera.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reports that two weather systems are being closely monitored within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of 2:00 PM today.

Two LPAs Under Monitoring

  • Low Pressure Area (LPA 07g)
  • Low Pressure Area (LPA 07h)

Both systems have a medium potential of developing into tropical depressions within the next 24 hours. PAGASA is advising the public to stay alert and monitor succeeding bulletins, as any development could enhance rainfall across affected regions.
