By South Korea will start accepting applications for e-Group Visa for regular tourists; Here’s how
The Ministry of Justice in the Republic of Korea has announced that it will be accepting applications for a new e-Group Visa for regular tourists, effective June 27, 2023.
Aimed at facilitating travel for tour groups, the e-Group Visa is applicable for teams of at least three individuals. This includes company incentive tour groups, educational tour groups below the collegiate level, and regular tour groups.
The key requirement is that all members of the group plan to enter and exit Korea using the same vessel, flight, or other scheduled means of transportation.
The new visa system is an online-based application process. However, applications must be submitted through accredited travel agencies. These designated travel agencies will be responsible for processing applications via the Korea Visa Portal.
The announcement did not disclose the exact procedure and requirements for the application process. Instead, individuals interested in taking advantage of this new visa offering are encouraged to contact the accredited travel agencies below for detailed information.
