SLU Releases Online Application and Enrollment Procedures for Late Applicants




Saint Louis University (SLU) is calling those who weren’t able to take the SLU College Entrance Examination (SLU CEE) to become Louisians as the SLU Admission Committee releases the final procedures for online application for AY 2020 – 2021 admission for late applicants.

This announcement has been released by SLU today, July 17, 2020, through an advisory.

SLU AY 2020 – 2021 Admission for Late Applicants

According to SLU, the online application for those who were not able to take the SLU CEE will be open starting on July 17, 2020.

More than the announcement of the start of the application, the university has also released the step-by-step procedure on how to proceed with the online application. Here are the following steps and procedures as provided by the Saint Louis University College Admission Committee.

 

Important Reminders for Late Applicants

  • For those who have not applied and paid the SLU CEE Testing Fee, please start with Step 1 of the procedures below.
  • For those who have applied for the SLU CEE and already paid the SLU CEE Testing Fee amounting to P550.00 through PNB but were not able to take the examination, please proceed to Step 8 of the Online Applications Procedures below.
    • The extra amount of 200 pesos will be credited to your account in SLU once you are officially enrolled.
    • However, if your application will be Disapproved, you will be refunded the said overpayment as soon as you have received the notice of your application.
    • For those who have decided not to continue with your application, please inform the Admission Committee so they can help process your refund.
    • For refund concerns, please email [email protected]. Please be advised accordingly.



Steps for Online Application

  1. To start your application, please log in to SLU’s website www.slu.edu.ph.
  2. Click on the ADMISSIONS tab, click Undergraduate, and then click Apply.
  3. Once you get into the application page, completely fill in all the needed information. Once done, click Next.
  4. After clicking Next, you will be led to the Educational Background tab. Click the tab and choose from the list the Senior High School you have graduated from. If your school is not on the list, please choose Other Schools.
  5. Choose the Course/Program you are applying for at Saint Louis University. Please be informed that if the Course/Program does not appear on the list, the said course is no longer open or available.
  6. Click the Submit button. Your Application Number and Password will appear on your screen. Please ensure to remember your application number and password. You may take a screenshot of it for future reference.
  7. Log in to your iSLU portal account using your Applicant Number and Password.
  8. You will see the details of the required Processing Fee. Proceed with your payment.
    • Pay the required Processing Fee of P350.00 through any Philippine National Bank (PNB) branches nearest you.
    • Please allow 3 (three) SLU Working days for the confirmation of your payment and eventually, your application.
  9. After 3 (three) SLU Working days, log in to your iSLU Portal Account using your Application Number and Password.
    • If your payment is confirmed, you will be led to a facility where you will upload your SHS Grade 12 Report Card (Form 138)/High School Transcript for international students and students with foreign credentials.
    • Please ensure to upload a complete document – with grades and the signature of your SHS Principal.
  10. After successfully uploading your SHS Grade 12 Report Card, please wait for 3 (three) SLU Working days for the decision of your application.
  11. After 3 (three) SLU Working days, please log in to your iSLU Portal Account for the result of your application.
    • If your application is APPROVED, you may now proceed to your ONLINE ENROLLMENT by following the Steps for the Online Enrollment of Qualified Late Applicants for AY 2020-2021 below.
    • If DISAPPROVED, then you will be informed of the decision of your application.



SLU AY 2020 – 2021 Online Enrollment for Qualified Late Applicants

Other than the SLU AY 2020 – 2021 admission for late applicants, the Saint Louis University College Admission Committee has also released a complete step-by-step guide of the online enrollment for late applicants.

However, the guide is applicable only to those whose application has been APPROVED. If you went through the procedures abovementioned and got your application approved, follow these next steps as provided by the Saint Louis University College Admission Committee.

Steps for Online Enrollment

  1. Open your iSLU Portal Account and check the Class Schedule and Breakdown of Fees.
    • In your Class Schedule, please find below it the Breakdown of Fees and required down payment.
    • You are to pay NOT LESS THAN the required down payment through any of the suggested payment methods on or before the due date indicated.
    • If not paid within the due date, your assigned subjects will be cancelled.
    • Payments may be made through the following banks:
      • Metrobank
      • Philippine National Bank
      • Eastwest Bank
      • Security Bank
      • United Coconut Planters Bank
      • Banco de Oro (Please check your email for instructions for payment thru this bank)
      • Landbank (Please check your email for instructions for payment thru this bank)

  2. After payment, send a photocopy of your Transaction/Payment slip immediately through the iSLU Portal.
    • Please allow 5 (five) SLU Working days for confirmation of your payment which will be sent to your iSLU Portal.
  3. Once payment is confirmed and your status is OFFICIALLY ENROLLED as indicated in your iSLU Portal, you may then send the original copies of all required enrollment documents not later than August 28, 2020 through express courier addressed to:

    • Please DO NOT send the original copies of the documents if you have NOT received acknowledgment of payment.



      • SHS Grade 12 Report Card (if not yet available, Certificate of Graduation that contains the date of release of your Report Card signed by your SHS Principal)
      • Photocopy of Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO Copy)
      • Certificate of Good Moral Character
      • Random Drug Testing Acknowledgement Form (This form is attached to your Official SLU CEE Result. Random Drug Testing is NOT required)
      • 2 (two) 2×2 ID Pictures with Name Tag and White Background
      • OSA Form *
      • Promissory Note * (If any of a, b, and c is/are not available yet)
      • Certification for Top 1 or Top 2* for students who belong to the Top 1 or 2 of their Strand/Batch. The appropriate Tuition Fee discount will be applied to your individual account for the First Semester, AY 2020-2021 after you have been officially enrolled.
      • For Persons with Disability – Download the Student with Special Needs Form * to be sent together with the other documents. In addition, a Medical Certificate stating that the applicant is FIT to ENROLL must be emailed to the Guidance Center at [email protected] within the first three (3) weeks of classes. An applicant who fails to submit the required certification from his/her attending physician may be asked to withdraw with permission as the main intention is to ensure his/her well-being or best interest.
      • For QUALIFIED International Students: For International students, who are in the Philippines, they will need to submit the additional requirements (1) Photocopy of Valid VISA, (2) Photocopy of Passport Bio Page, (3) Recommendation Letter, and (4) NBI Clearance. For those who are abroad/or in their home countries, these is no need to submit the additional documents.
      • (*) Downloadable at the SLU website: www.slu.edu.ph, Admissions Tab
    • Kindly arrange all the documents in the order above, place in brown envelope and label the front with your Full Name, Course, and Mobile Number.
    • Failure to submit the above documents can result in the cancellation of your enrollment at Saint Louis University.
    • Once sent, please wait for a confirmation from the University Registrar’s Office that your documents have been received through your iSLU Portal.
  4. For BLISTT (Baguio, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay) residents only, you may personally submit your documents or through your authorized representative at the SLU Parking Building, Bonifacio St., Baguio City during SLU Working days and office hours (8-3 pm only).
    • An SLU representative per school will be there to receive and check your documents.
    • Submission will be done on an appointment basis.
    • You will need to text your school’s mobile number (please refer to the list below) for an appointment and wait for a text confirmation of your schedule before you may come to submit.
    • Please take note that without an appointment, your documents may not be accepted.
