UPDATE June 3, 2026 11:18 AM:
In the 4:00 PM update of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) today, February 16, 2021 (Tuesday), the Tail-end of a Frontal System (Shear Line) and the northeast monsoon would bring rains over some parts of the country.
Due to the tail-end of the Frontal System, cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will be experienced over:
Furthermore, there might be “possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains in the aforementioned areas”, PAGASA stated.
The northeast monsoon brings cloudy skies with light rains in the following areas:
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced in these areas due to the northeast monsoon:
Furthermore, according to the 4 PM update of PAGASA, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) is estimated at 1,530 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.
In addition, the said LPA has no direct effect in the country said PAGASA.
