Sabangan, Mt. Province to Conduct Mandatory Free Mass Testing Tomorrow
Mayor Marcial Jr. C. Lawilao through Executive Order No. 02, Series of 2021 has mandated a Free Mass Testing tomorrow, January 28, 2021 (Thursday), in ALL Barangays in the Municipality of Sabangan, Mt. Province.
The mandatory testing was issued by the mayor for the early detection and prevention of further transmission of the virus.
Individuals Mandated to Undergo Testing
- Frontliners (shall include those personnel who were not swabbed during the earlier conducted mass swab testing for LGU Sabangan employees and other frontline offices)
- Barangay Officials, members of the Barangay Health Emergency and Response Teams (BHERTs), and other Barangay Personnel
- Owners of business establishments and their employees
- Tricycle operators, van drivers, and other Public Utility Vehicles (PUV) drivers
- Uniformed personnel
- All government employees
- Those who belong to the vulnerable sector:
- senior citizens’
- persons with comorbidities
- pregnant women
NOTE: All individuals who will be swabbed shall strictly undergo self-isolation until the release of their RT-PCR test.
Furthermore, the listed individuals must be residing and working in Sabangan.
In addition, all individuals especially identified individuals to undergo mandatory testing who were not accommodated during the mass swabbing will be listed and will undergo testing the next day according to the EO.
Individuals Not Covered
According to the EO, individuals not covered above are encouraged to avail of the free mass testing.
What to Bring Tomorrow
In the LGU Sabangan’s post, individuals who will undergo testing tomorrow will bring:
- PhilHealth Identification Numbers (active or inactive)
- Bring Valid ID for those with no PhilHealth
