PRC Reschedules Psychologists, Psychometricians Licensure Exams Due to Heavy Rains
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has rescheduled the August 2026 Psychologists Licensure Examination (PSLE) and Psychometricians Licensure Examination (PMLE) due to continuous heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
The examinations originally scheduled for August 19 and 20, 2026, will instead be held on September 1 and 2, 2026, respectively.
New Examination Dates
According to the PRC announcement:
- Psychologists Licensure Examination (PSLE): Rescheduled to September 1, 2026
- Psychometricians Licensure Examination (PMLE): Rescheduled to September 2, 2026
PRC said the cancellation of the original examination dates was made upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
The decision was also made in view of the Heavy Rainfall Warnings issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) amid continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon.
Examinees are advised to take note of the new examination dates and continue monitoring official PRC announcements for further updates concerning the PSLE and PMLE.
Those with questions or concerns may contact their concerned PRC Regional Office through the contact information published on the PRC website.
Updates and other official announcements regarding the licensure examinations will also be posted through the PRC website and its official Facebook page.
