[UPDATED] New Travel Restrictions Imposed Between and Within BLISTT Areas
The mayors of Baguio, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, Tublay (BLISTT) has released a joint advisory regarding a new border restriction which will be imposed between and within BLISTT areas.
Joint Advisory of BLISTT Mayors
The joint advisory on border restriction was agreed upon by the involved local executives during a meeting on April 5, 2021, which aims to reduce mobility, which according to health experts, plays a huge role in community coronavirus transmission.
Because of this, the local chief executives have agreed to implement “methods to minimize non-essential travel between and within our respective areas for a limited period of time, so that we can help each other bring our collective cases down and avoid a possible escalation of quarantine classifications, similar to what happened in NCR+,” said the joint advisory.
Starting Thursday, April 8, 2021 until Thursday, April 22, 2021, only the following will be allowed to travel within and between the BLISTT municipalities:
APORs
APORS and workers in permitted industries shall be allowed to pass through provincial/city checkpoints upon presentation of the following:
- Municipal/Provincial/City Task Force ID
- Municipal/Provincial/City Contact Tracer ID
- Employment ID
- Certificate of Employment
- Business Permit
- Proof of confirmed appointment for transactions in any government or private agency, instrumentality, or office.
- Confirmed medical appointment in any government or private health care facility or provider.
BLISTT Residents Accessing Essential Goods/Services
Residents who wish to travel between BLISTT localities to access essential goods or services may do so on assigned schedules that shall be provided by their respective LGUs in subsequent Advisories.
Note: Assigned schedules will be updated in this post or a different post once it is released by the involved LGUs.
