Mayor Salda Releases Advisory Setting Curfew in La Trinidad



The Mayor’s Office of La Trinidad has released an advisory on Saturday, January 23, 2021, announcing curfew hours in the municipality.

In an advisory released through the official Facebook Page of Municipal Mayor Romeo Salda, a daily siren shall be blasted in the municipality at 7:30 PM starting January 23, 2021. This will signal that ALL business establishments should already be closed by 8:00 PM, except for drug stores and gasoline stations. This is pursuant to the MIATF Resolution No. 01-2021.


Curfew for residents has also been set from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM of the following day effective until further notice.

  • Those ages 15 y/o and below and 65 y/o and above should stay at home, except when availing of essential goods/services only.
  • ALL business establishments, residents and transients should comply. Violators will be apprehended.


The advisory was released following the detection of the lone case of the UK variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in La Trinidad.
