Magnitude 3.4 earthquake rocked Baguio City

A magnitude 3.4 earthquake rocked Baguio City early morning today February 3, 2022. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) earthquake information, the earthquake occurred at 1:53:44 AM.
The epicenter of the earthquake was pinpointed at 16.34°N, 120.54°E – 009 km S 48° W of City Of Baguio (Benguet). The earthquake registered a magnitude of 3.4, with a depth of focus of 016km. The origin of the earthquake is tectonic.

The earthquake was felt in Baguio City with a reported intensity of IV while instrumental intensity recorded in Baguio City is III. The PHIVOLCS does not expect any damage nor are they expecting any aftershocks.
