Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital Pediatric Department placed under Lockdown

In an advisory released by Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital (LHMRH), effective as of yesterday, August 11, 2020, until August 15, 2020, LHMRH Pediatric Department is placed under lockdown for disinfection and contact tracing purposes.

The lockdown was ordered after one of the admitted patients from July 30 until August 8, 2020 was confirmed positive for COVID-19.

In the advisory, it is stated that all LHMRH pediatric patients and watchers who were discharged from July 30, 2020 to August 8, 2020 are advised to undergo self-isolation and self-monitoring.

For individuals with the following symptoms, they are advised to report to their BHERTs or RHUs:

Fever
Cough
Colds
Sore Throat
Difficulty of Breathing

Furthermore, the LHMRH Pediatric Department will accept emergency cases only. And, if possible, with proper coordination from the RHUs or District Hospitals.
