LTFRB Opens Irisan Route for “Libreng Sakay for Health Workers” Program




Following LTFRB-CAR’s kick-off for the “Libreng Sakay para sa mga Healthcare Workers” program, a new route has been made available for the frontliners of the City of Baguio.




Starting 12 NN today, April 29, 2021, four (4) tourist routes were deployed to fetch health workers in the Irisan area. The Irisan route is second out of the 11 proposed routes for the free ride program and will traverse through the following areas:

Irisan Jeep Parking Area – Elpidio Quirino Highway – Irisan Fire Station – Cooyesan Plaza – F. Yandoc St – Benjamin Salvosa Drive – Shanum St – Abanao St – Elpidio Quirino Hway – Cooyesan Plaza – Irisan Fire Station – Irisan Jeep Parking Area.

Other routes will be made available once documents from the operators have been processed.

Additional Routes to Open for LTFRB-CAR’S Free Rides for Health Care Workers Program



On April 27, 2021, LTFRB-CAR started offering 24/7 free rides for health workers in the City traversing to help ease the burden of those who have been on the front lines when it comes to battling the pandemic. The initial route starts at Pines City Doctors Hospital, passing by different health facilities and the Central Business District and vice versa.




Who can avail of the free ride?

All health care workers (including medical professionals, utility workers in medical centers/clinics/hospitals, and auxiliary workforce in the health industry) are enjoined to avail of the free ride. Present your IDs to be properly identified.

LTFRB-CAR OIC Regional Director Engr. Lalaine E. Sobremonte hopes that the Free Ride for Health Workers program by the LTFRB will help ease the burdens of our health care workers in their commute to their workplace.
