Lockdown orders lifted at these areas in Baguio City today
The lockdown order over DENR Compound at Gibraltar Baguio City has been lifted. It can be recalled that the lockdown order at DENR Compound was implemented to facilitate disinfection procedures. This, after an employee of the said office and a resident of Gibraltar, has been found to be positive for COVID-19.
The lifting of the lockdown was recommended by the Contact tracing team after thorough reassessment of the said areas and based on the geospatial analysis of the risk of transmission. The specific areas where the lockdown order was lifted are the following:
- DENR Compound – Purok 1, Gibraltar
- Purok 7 St. Joseph Village
The Barangay Officials and the BHERT’s are mandated to monitor those who were required to undergo 14-day quarantine/isolation.
As always the public is reminded to practice the minimum health and safety standards set by the IATF and the Local Government.
