Leisure Travel to Baguio for Tourists from NCR plus prohibited from March 22 to April 4, 2021




The City Tourism Office of Baguio City has released an advisory on Monday regarding tourists who are from the NCR plus (NCR, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal) who are planning to visit Baguio for leisure purposes.

This follows the announcement made by the national government through a virtual press briefing last Sunday, March 21, 2021. Presidential Spokesperson has announced that from March 22 to April 4, 2021, NCR, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal will be placed in a GCQ bubble called NCR plus, restricting non-essential travels in and out of the areas to address the country’s rising cases of coronavirus.

Travel Advisory

Pursuant to the IATF Resolution No. 104, the City Tourism Office released a travel advisory stating that leisure travel to the City of Baguio is NOT ALLOWED if coming from NCR, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal, effective March 22 to April 4, 2021.

According to the advisory, tourists from NCR plus who already have approved travels and QR-coded Travel Pass (QTP) are advised to edit and reschedule their visit in their respective VISITA account (visita.baguio.gov.ph) at a later date after April 4, 2021.

Indoor tourist attractions among others will be closed from March 22 -April 4, 2021




For APORs from NCR plus entering Baguio City

Authorized Persons and essential travelers from areas may register at hdf.baguio.gov.ph.

For Tourists from other areas/provinces

Tourists from other areas/provinces, with approved travels and QTP can go ahead with their travel. Those who intend to travel but do not have a QTP yet can still register at visita.baguio.gov.ph





For Baguio Residents working or coming from NCR Plus coming to Baguio for LEISURE PURPOSES

According to Advisory No. 03-2021 released by the Public Information Office of Baguio City on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, Baguio residents working or coming from the NCR Plus bubble who wish to come home for VACATION during the time period will not be allowed entry.

Baguio residents are likewise cautioned to suspend non-essential travel plans to NCR Plus for their own welfare and safety.
