La Trinidad Requests Mayor Magalong to Recall Advisory Imposing Restriction on Entry from LSTT



According to the result of the Emergency Meeting of the La Trinidad MIATF today, November 20, 2020 (Friday), in Resolution No. 07, Series of 2020 they are requesting Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong to recall the Advisory on Temporary Restricted Access Between Baguio City and the Municipalities of La Trinidad, Tuba, Tublay, and Sablan.

“Requesting the Hon. Benjamin B. Magalong, Mayor of Baguio City,  to recall the Advisory on Temporary Restricted Access Between Baguio City and the Municipalities of La Trinidad, Tuba, Tublay, and Sablan.”

It was stated on the resolution that the body was unanimous in expressing surprise and apprehension at the sudden issuance of the Advisory which caught the Municipality off-guard.

Furthermore, La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda said in a statement posted earlier on the Mayor’s Office – La Trinidad Facebook page that there was no series of dialogues on the Travel Restriction.

Hence, the Provincial Health Office of Benguet will be open on November 21, 22, and 23, 2020 to accommodate Benguet residents affected by the temporary restricted access between Baguio City and LSTT.
