The Municipality of Itogon, Benguet is now COVID-19 free after all the 5 confirmed cases who tested negative for the disease and are discharged from Benguet General Hospital (BeGH) after completing their 14 day home quarantine according to Doctor Oliver Guadaña.

The last positive case, which is a Barangay tanod from the said municipality, is one of the six patients who were sent off from the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH) yesterday.

Included in the 5 COVID-19 cases are two frontliners and two residents of Itogon.

Hence, everyone is still advised to be vigilant and follow basic health protocols to prevent the spread of the virus according to Mayor Victorio T. Palangdan.
