International Agency released guidelines to determine the essentiality of lugaw
Due to the ongoing dispute that rained upon Filipinos on social media, on whether lugaw is considered essential. The International Agency for Determining if Food is Essential stepped in to weigh on the matter.
The International Agency for Determining if Food is Essential findings
After thorough research and 24 hours of deliberation, the International Agency for Determining if Food is Essential has concluded that “lugaw” is also known as rice porridge.
Lugaw is also popularly known as congee and this dish takes on different forms. Basically, lugaw is a soupy rice dish that morphs into different forms depending on the toppings that you put into it, the International Agency for Determining if Food is Essential added.
The International Agency for Determining if Food is Essential also stated that the dish, Lugaw, should not be confused with the statement “tubong lugaw”.
