An Orange Warning is in effect for several areas in Benguet, including Baguio City, La Trinidad, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay. Residents in these areas are advised to prepare for potential flooding and landslides, as these hazards remain a threat in flood-prone and landslide-prone regions.

The warning also covers areas in La Union, including Agoo, Aringay, Bauang, Burgos, Caba, Naguilian, Pugo, Rosario, City of San Fernando, Santo Tomas, Tubao, and Bagulin, as well as parts of Pangasinan. These regions should be on alert for possible flooding and landslides.

Light to moderate rains are currently affecting the rest of La Union, portions of Ilocos Sur, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino (Nagtipunan), Mountain Province, and Ifugao. These conditions may persist for the next two to three hours and could impact nearby areas. Additionally, light to moderate to occasionally heavy rains are expected over the rest of Ilocos Sur, Aurora (Dipaculao, Dinalungan), the rest of Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Abra, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, and Kalinga within the same timeframe.

The public, along with Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices, are advised to monitor the weather conditions closely and await the next update, which is scheduled for 5:00 PM today.

Residents, especially those living along mountain slopes, should take precautionary measures against potential landslides, mudslides, rockslides, and flash floods.
