Additionally, light to moderate, and at times heavy, rains are currently affecting Nueva Vizcaya (Dupax Del Sur, Dupax Del Norte, Alfonso Castaneda, Bambang, Ambaguio, Bagabag, Villaverde, Solano, Bayombong, Quezon, Kasibu, Diadi), Ilocos Norte, Kalinga, Ifugao (Banaue, Kiangan, Lagawe, Lamut, Mayoyao, Alfonso Lista, Aguinaldo, Hingyon, Asipulo), Isabela, Mountain Province (Barlig, Bontoc, Natonin, Paracelis, Sadanga), Cagayan, Apayao, Quirino, and Aurora. These conditions are expected to persist for the next 2 to 3 hours and may affect nearby areas.
The public and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices are advised to monitor the weather conditions closely and await the next update, scheduled for 8:00 AM today. Residents, especially those living along mountain slopes, should take precautionary measures against possible landslides, mudslides, rockslides, and flash floods.
