Heading Up To Baguio this weekend for the PMA Alumni Homecoming? Here’s the traffic advisory.

Prepare for the influx of tourists and PMA Alumni to the City of Pines this weekend. The PMA Alumni Homecoming weekend is happening from February 15-17, 2019. Dignitaries and PMA Alumni will be flocking to Baguio City to celebrate this annual gathering of the graduates of the Philippine Military Academy.

Anticipating the influx of people to this mountain resort, the Baguio City Police Office Traffic Unit prepared a traffic advisory for those traveling to Baguio on the said dates.

The Traffic Advisory

Currently, Kennon road is open to traffic on a one-way scheme until February 18 after which it will again be closed and opened again from February 22-March 4. It can be recalled that Kennon Road was previously closed to traffic due to the ongoing major road rehabilitation.

The BCPO Traffic Unit are advising the public to take other routes leading to Baguio City, such as:

  1. Marcos Highway
  2. Tubao-Nangalisan Asin Road
  3. Bauang Naguilian Road

The Alternate Routes

The PMA Alumni Homecoming is a event worth celebrating, avoid being stressed out on your way to Baguio by taking the different alternate routes. In addition, the motoring public are advised to exercise defensive driving in order to arrive safe in your destination. To All PMA Alumni Welcome Home Cavaliers!
