Guide To Watching The Miss Universe Parade In Baguio City

Are you planning on watching the Ms. Universe mini Panagbenga float parade tomorrow (January 18,2017)? If so here is a guide on how you can choose the best spot for you to watch the parade, after all this is a rare event happening in Baguio City, because who knows when will the Ms. Universe organizer decide to hold the pageant again in the Philippines after this.

So if you have decided to watch tomorrows festivities here’s some information and tips which you should know.

1. The start of the parade as stated in the released poster for this event is around 9am-10am however, in anticipation of the numerous people who will be flocking in to watch the parade it is best to secure your spot anywhere from their route earlier than the starting time.
2. The route of the Parade is from DILG to Baguio Country Club, for easy reference we have prepared a simple route map of the parade below.

3. To fully enjoy the parade, it would be great if you would give due consideration to those standing behind you, to those with children and to our beloved senior citizens who also want to enjoy the parade.

4. Respect the parade marshals, volunteers and the police, they are there to ensure the safety not only of the Miss Universe   candidates but most of all the safety of the public.

5. Respect the environment, we can do this by properly disposing of our garbage and by not destroying the plants in the place where you chose to watch the parade.

6. Take note of the roads that were declared closed during the conduct of the activity. With the closure of the road expect traffic in some roads in Baguio city especially those within the central business district.

7. Be patient and be kind, everybody just want to enjoy the parade.
