Free Admission to Camp John Hay’s Historical Core and Scout Hill Picnic Grounds Extended Until November 4

Good news for residents and visitors spending the long weekend in Baguio! The John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) has announced that access to the Historical Core and Scout Hill Picnic Grounds will remain free of charge until November 4, 2025.

The announcement is part of the celebration of Camp John Hay’s 112th anniversary, marking more than a century of history, nature, and recreation at one of Baguio’s most iconic destinations.

As part of the observance, JHMC continues to make the city’s green spaces more accessible to the public. During this period, guests can enjoy the Historical Core, home to landmarks such as the Bell House and the Amphitheater, without any admission fee.

Free Use of Picnic Grounds and Waived Parking Fees

Visitors heading to Scout Hill can also take advantage of the free use of tables at the picnic grounds. Parking fees have likewise been waived for the entire celebration period, making it easier for families and groups to spend a relaxing day outdoors.

Guests are reminded to observe the “Clean As You Go” (CLAYGO) policy to help maintain cleanliness and preserve the natural beauty of the area.

Mini Golf Reopens

In addition, JHMC announced that the Mini Golf has resumed regular operations and is now open to the public.
