Entry To and Between the BLISTT Areas Again Limited for About Two Weeks



The Local Chief Executives of Baguio, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay (BLISTT) have mutually decided to again limit the entry to and between the BLISTT areas to travels for work/official business and access to essential goods and services from January 10, 2021 to January 24, 2021.

This decision was indicated in the “JOINT ADVISORY OF THE LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVES OF BAGUIO, LA TRINIDAD, ITOGON, SABLAN, TUBA, AND TUBLAY (BLISTT)” signed by the BLISTT mayors today (Thursday), January 7, 2021.

Why Limit Entry To and Between the BLISTT Areas

Based on the BLISTT Joint Advisory, the Local Chief Executives have decided to make the move to:

  • Mitigate the spread of COVID-19
  • Address the high attack rate of the virus and the positivity rate in tests
  • Manage limited health care resources

What Are to Be Presented at Border Checkpoints

During the period, at the border checkpoints, everyone is expected to present the following:

  • Valid government IDs as proof of residence
  • Health Declaration Forms

Who are Exempted from Checkpoint Requirements

  • Health workers
  • Uniformed personnel
  • Members of the city/provincial/municipal COVID-19 contact tracing teams
  • Members of the city/provincial/municipal COVID-19 Task Force
  • The personnel in LGU and agency offices
  • Cargo and logistic services
  • Service providers for water, electricity, telecommunications, ICT and waste management utilities

Requirements for Non-resident Travelers to LISTT

Non-resident Travelers to LISTT

Those who are non-resident travelers coming from La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay, and from other regions and provinces must present the following:

  • Travel Authority/Permit
  • Medical Certificate issued in their place of origin

Non-resident Travelers to Baguio City

For the non-resident travelers coming into Baguio City, on the other hand, the processes are provided in the links indicated below:

  • https://hdf.baguio.gov.ph/ for non-tourist (essential travels and returning residents)
  • https://visita.baguio.gov.ph/ for tourists
