Cold Christmas eve in Baguio as Temperature drops to 12.4°C

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas at least temperature-wise in Baguio City as the temperature further dipped from 13°C yesterday to 12.4°C as of 5:00 AM today December 24, 2022.

While people are busy preparing for the annual noche buena, those celebrating in Baguio City are treated to an early morning Christmas chill. This is brought about by the northeast monsoon as cold air blows into the City of Pines.

Baguio is known to be one of the coolest places in the Philippines. Despite the country being known for the pristine beaches. Baguio is atop the mountains delivering cool air to those who seek refuge from the hot humid air of the lowlands.
