BTS Gets First Grammy Nomination
K-pop band BTS has earned their first Grammy Award Nomination for their hit song Dynamite and they are the first K-pop group who received a Grammy Nomination.
In a Twitter post, the global sensation group has shared their reaction after the announcement of their nomination.

Furthermore, the K-pop group was nominated under the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Category. Also, in the said category, the following giant artists are nominated:
- J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny & Tainy- “UN DIA (ONE DAY)”
- Justin Bieber feat. Quavo (“Intentions”)
- Lady Gaga with Ariana Grande- “Rain On Me”
- Taylor Swift feat. Bon Iver- “exile”

Dynamite is BTS’s first fully English language track and it is an upbeat disco-tinged pop jam meant to inspire positivity and joy during these difficult times.
Last August, the K-pop group told GRAMMY.com that “[The inspiration for] it all began from this: even in the midst of hardships, we must focus on what we can do. As for us, we found freedom and happiness in singing and dancing. This song goes to the ones who need encouragement. We hope people feel energized when listening to the song.”
