BSU and SLU among the top performing schools in the September 2024 Licensure Examinations for Professional Teachers
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) have announced the results of the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (L.E.P.T.), released 51 working days after the exam. The examination, conducted on September 29, 2024, across 40 testing centers in the Philippines and Thailand, yielded the following results:
- Elementary Level: 20,025 passers out of 44,002 examinees (45.51%)
- First timers: 16,340
- Repeaters: 3,685
- Secondary Level: 48,875 passers out of 85,926 examinees (56.88%)
- First timers: 41,190
- Repeaters: 7,685

Several institutions demonstrated exceptional performance in the L.E.P.T. results:
- Benguet State University (BSU):
- Elementary Level (100 or more examinees): Ranked 3rd with a 93.94% passing rate.
- Secondary Level (300 or more examinees): Ranked 2nd with a 92.66% passing rate.
- Saint Louis University (SLU):
- Secondary Level (100-299 examinees): Ranked 7th with a 91.72% passing rate.
Registration Schedule
Successful examinees are required to register personally for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. Below are the registration start dates for various testing centers:

Registration Requirements
Applicants must bring the following documents:
- Notice of Admission (for identification only)
- Downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two pieces of passport-size photos (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One short brown envelope
Successful examinees must personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Examination Updates
The Board for Professional Teachers, chaired by Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, along with Dr. Paz I. Lucido (Vice Chairman), Dr. Paraluman R. Giron, and Dr. Nora M. Uy (Members), oversees the licensure process. Results for 34 examinees are currently withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the licensure examination rules.
