BLISTT Residents Granted Extended Free Access to Baguio Botanical Garden
Good news for residents of the BLISTT area! The City Government of Baguio has officially extended the free entrance privilege to the Baguio Botanical Garden for residents of Baguio City, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay through Ordinance No. 31-2025.
This extension recognizes the strong support shown by the BLISTT community during the recently concluded Panagbenga Festival and encourages sustained community engagement with the city’s green spaces. The free access is valid from April 21 to May 20, 2025.
To avail of free entrance, residents must present a valid government-issued ID showing their address in any of the six BLISTT areas upon entry to the Botanical Garden. Non-residents are still required to pay the standard entrance fee.
City officials emphasized that this initiative not only rewards residents’ participation in civic celebrations but also fosters deeper appreciation for Baguio’s environmental and cultural heritage.
The Baguio Botanical Garden, one of the city’s most visited attractions, features a variety of themed gardens, art installations, and native huts, making it a perfect destination for families and nature lovers alike.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this extended free access period and reconnect with nature at the heart of the city.
