Baguio honors its American Pioneers on Fil-Am Friendship Day

In celebration of Filipino-American Friendship Day tomorrow, July 4, 2019, Baguio City will be having a ceremony in honor of Americans who helped shaped the city into what it has become.

The City Tourism and Special Events Office (CTSEO) and Mayor Benjamin Magalong, together with the city officials, will be leading the said event.

For tomorrow’s celebration, the local government will be laying floral wreaths at key points along Burnham Park, Governor Pack Road, Kennon Road and Malcolm Square.

And after this, a program will follow where songs and dances are lined up to remind us of the American Period here in City of Pines.
