Baguio City Sunday Walk | Panagbenga Festival Activities

Sundays in Baguio City, with the activities lined up for the Panagbenga Festival, has made walking a fun activity for families and friends. Last Sunday, different activities were held at the Melvin Jones Grandstand as part of Handog ng Panagbenga sa Pamilya Baguio. We witnessed the Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom: An Open Painting Exhibition and the kiteflying competition which have been parts of a longstanding tradition held during the flower festival.

To make that particular Sunday extra special, the city government has also decided to close Session Road to traffic, this time exclusively for buskers, performers, and artists to showcase their talents as residents and tourists stroll at the Central Business District. Residents were also welcome to freely express their own creative flair through chalk art. Overall, it was a beautiful Sunday of art, music, freedom of expression, and community.
