Baguio and Benguet BENECO Power Interruption Schedule for March 1-6, 2021






Heads up! Several areas in Baguio and Benguet will have scheduled power interruption. The Benguet Electric Cooperative or BENECO has released their schedule of power interruptions and the affected areas in Baguio and Benguet. Some power interruption lasts for 15 minutes to as long as 8 hours.

  • Extension of Primary Lines
Parts of Km.3, Marcos Highway (near Chapiz Village entrance, including Young Subdivision), Baguio City
  • Rerouting of secondary lines and retirement of pole affected by DPWH Project
Parts of Lower Kesbeng, Poblacion, La Trinidad
  • Facilitate line clearing at BJMP La Trinidad
Parts of Upper Kesbeng, Poblacion, La Trinidad
  • Uprating of Secondary Lines from #1/0 to #2/0

  • Retirement of Primary Pole
  • Installation of 3-25kVA Buyback distribution transformers

  • Rehabilitation of secondary lines
La Trinidad: Bineng, Poblacion LT (Buyagan, Windy Hill, CCDC, San Jose, La Trinidad Central School, Valley Bread, Gayasi)
  • Relocation of primary poles affected by the road widening projects.

In BENECO’s advisory, all concerned Cable & Communication Companies are advised to inspect and institute necessary safety measures or actions on their cables or lines attached to the affected BENECO poles.
