Benguet (including Baguio City) is now under Typhoon Signal No. 2 as Typhoon “Ambo” continues to move toward the northern part of the country.
In line with this, DPWH-CAR announced on Facebook that Kennon Road will be closed to traffic to all types of vehicles due to the possible impact of the typhoon starting yesterday, May 14, 2020.
As of the latest Severe Weather Bulletin released by PAGASA at 11:00 AM today, Typhoon Ambo is moving Northwest at 20 km/h. It is now over Catanuan, Quezon, and approaching Northern Quezon-Laguna Area.
At 10:00 AM today, the eye the typhoon was located based on all available data at in the vicinity of Catanauan, Quezon (13.6 °N, 122.3 °E )
Moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Bicol Region, Quezon, Aurora, Marinduque, Laguna, Rizal, Metro Manila, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, and Quirino.
