A new patient has been confirmed positive for the coronavirus disease in the City of Baguio today.

The new case is a 29-year old female Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) nurse from Saudi Arabia. According to the Public Information Office of Baguio City, she arrived in Manila on June 30 and arrived here in Baguio on Saturday, July 4. In an update by PIO-Baguio, they elaborated that the patient underwent a swab test yesterday, July 14, after developing symptoms while she was on strict home quarantine. The patient is currently admitted at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC).

COVID-19 Cases in Baguio City

As of date, the new additional case raises the city’s number of total cases to fifty-four (54), with eight (8) patients who are currently undergoing treatment.
