Saint Louis University (SLU) in Baguio City recorded a strong performance in the September 2026 Social Workers Licensure Examination, producing the nationwide No. 1 topnotcher, two additional Top 10 placers, and a perfect passing rate.
According to results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Zirc Iram Dela Cruz Sanchez of Saint Louis University topped the Social Workers board exam with a rating of 93.40 percent.
Two more Louisians also earned spots among the highest-performing examinees nationwide.
Three Louisians Among September 2026 Social Workers Topnotchers
Aside from Sanchez taking the top spot, Regina Marie Pasion Ballesteros and Mistery Bellingen Damortis, both from Saint Louis University, tied at Rank 9 after earning ratings of 91.60 percent.

Saint Louis University Posts 100% Passing Rate
Saint Louis University was also included in the PRC’s list of top-performing schools under the category for institutions with 10 to 50 examinees and at least an 80 percent passing percentage.
SLU recorded a 100 percent passing rate, with all 49 of its 49 examinees successfully passing the September 2026 Social Workers Licensure Examination.
The university was listed at Rank 1 in its category, alongside other schools that also achieved perfect passing rates.
Ifugao State University Records 100% Passing Rate
Another Cordillera institution also earned recognition among the country’s top-performing schools.
Ifugao State University (Lamut) recorded a perfect 100 percent passing rate, with all 56 of its 56 examinees passing the licensure examination.
IFSU was included in the category for schools with 51 or more examinees and at least an 80 percent passing percentage, where it was among the institutions that achieved a perfect passing rate.

The PRC categorized the top-performing schools according to their number of examinees and passing percentages.
Among schools with 51 or more examinees, institutions that recorded a 100 percent passing rate included Caraga State University-Butuan City, Bicol University-Daraga, Davao del Norte State College, Mindanao State University-Marawi City, Bulacan State University-Malolos, Assumption College of Davao, and Ifugao State University.
Meanwhile, Saint Louis University was among the institutions with 10 to 50 examinees that achieved a 100 percent passing rate.
